Howdy, y’all. This is a special edition of Y’allogy on how to receive an autographed copy of my new literary western: Blood Touching Blood, now available in hardback and e-book editions at Amazon.
Securing a personalized and autographed copy of Blood Touching Blood is like two-steppin’ to a George Strait song—easy.
First, you have to ride for the Y’allogy brand by becoming a paid subscriber. You can either choose the $5 per month option or the $50 per year option, which is 17 percent cheaper than the monthly option. (Of course, you can also join the Society of the Brand for $150 per year.)
Second, once you’ve become a paid subscriber you need to send me an email requesting a book. You can do this in one of two ways:
Response to this newsletter you received by email.
Visit my Contact page on my author website—derrickjeter.com—and send a message.
Your email/message should include the following:
The email address you used to sign up for Y’allogy so I can verify payment. It’s not that I don’t trust you, but my momma always told me to count the money.
The name of the person or persons to whom you want the book inscribed.
The address where you’d like me to send the book. Shipping is on the house.
That’s it. Simple. Like fallin’ off a horse.
A important note on delivery: If you’re wanting to get an autographed copy of Blood Touching Blood as a Christmas gift please note I can’t guarantee delivery by Christmas, but I’ll do my darnedest to get it to you as soon as possible.
This offer is good from now until the end of April 2025.
One last favor—okay, maybe two: Once you receive your book, would you mind taking a photo of you with it and posting it on social media? And then, once you’ve read it, would you mind leaving a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads? Much obliged.
Ten percent of your subscription fee is donated to historical and cultural institutions working to keep the history and culture of Texas and cowboys alive, such as:

Y’allogy is 1836 percent pure bred, open range Texas. As a reader-supported guide to the people, places, and past of the great Lone Star, the best way to support my work is to ride for the brand as a paid subscriber (and receive, upon request, a special gift: an autographed copy of Blood Touching Blood) or buy the book.
